A woman was shot at the Aligarh police station in Uttar Pradesh for passport verification. While cleaning the gun, the gun went off while sitting in the hand of Inspector Manoj Sharma.
The woman was shot in the head. The incident has been captured on the station’s CCTV.
In the video, the woman can be seen walking into the police station and then standing there, and a police officer arrives moments later.
He then hands over the gun to the sub-inspector. In the video, sub-inspector Manoj accidentally fires while cleaning the gun and then the woman falls down.
Immediately they were admitted to JN Medical College Hospital. It is reported that their condition is very serious.
