Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun's father-in-law Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy has joined the Congress.
Chandrasekhar Reddy joined the Congress from BRS. Chandrasekhar Reddy was a BRS leader from Nagarjuna Sagar in Nalgonda.
Apart from Kancharla, former Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and his wife Bonthu Sridevi and former Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy also switched to the Congress.
Before 2014, he was in the Congress party. During his education, he worked in the youth wing of the Congress.
Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy told the media that now coming to the Congress party is like coming to one's own nest.
Congress hopes that the inclusion of Kancharla will also benefit them. Meanwhile, Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy intends to contest from the Malkajigiri parliamentary seat in the next parliamentary elections.
