Actress and associate director Ambika Rao passed away on Monday night. She was suffering from kidney-related ailments and was undergoing treatment for a long time.
Ambika rose to fame through her role in ‘Kumbalangi Nights’, as the mother of Baby Mol (Anna Ben) and Simmu (Grace Antony).
She has also acted in ‘Meesha Madhavan’, Anuraga Karikin Vella’, ‘Thamasha’ and ‘Virus’.
Ambika also assisted for film including Salt and Pepper’, ‘Thommanum Makkalum’, ‘Rajamanikyam’ and ‘Vellinakshatram’.
