‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas is gearing up for his upcoming pan-India film ‘Adipurush’, directed by Om Raut. The film is slated to release worldwide ahead of Pongal, next year.
Meanwhile, the makers of the film have sold the digital rights to the international OTT giant Netflix for a whooping amount of Rs 250 crores. It will be released in all South Indian languages and also, it will be available in IMAX format as well.
‘Adipurush’ is based on the epic ‘Ramayana’ and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles with a whopping amount of Rs 500 crore. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.
Adipurush is scheduled to theatrically release on 12 January 2023.
