A very wonderful news is coming out now. This is the story of a 25-year-old man. Someone kidnapped him at the age of nine. Later he was settled in an interior area of Rajasthan. Now after 16 years he has joined his family. His family is from Dehradun. He returned to his family last Monday.

For the past six years, he was herding sheep. He is now thanking a truck driver. But he also does not know who this truck driver is. His name is Monu Sharma. He reached the Dehradun police headquarters last week. A truck driver helped him escape from Rajasthan. This driver was bringing him to Delhi.

He was kidnapped by some people in the year 2008. He was playing outside the house. He does not remember what happened next. When he regained consciousness, they gave him a new name – Raju. Later his job was goat herding. If he did not comply, he was severely beaten. He tried a lot to escape, but because it was an unknown place, he was losing.

Last month, a truck driver from Dehradun visited this area in Rajasthan. Monu was telling him his story. That’s how this track driver brought Monu to Delhi. Then the driver himself took Monu to Dehradun by train. He had also written a note on how to approach the police after reaching Dehradun. Five days ago, Monu reached the police headquarters and requested to trace his family members. Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh said these things to the media.

He had very few memories to tell about his family. It was known that he has four sisters. His father owned a grocery store. But he could not remember the names of his parents or his siblings. Later, the police gave his photo and name in the local news paper. A person named Asha Sharma identified him as his lost son. Monu’s family has been searching for him in Uttarakhand and neighboring areas for the past several years. After meeting Monu in person, the two share their childhood memories. That is how the parents confirmed that it was their son who had returned.
