Diwali 2019 was a festive season at the Tamil box office. Vijay starrer Bigil and Karthi starrer Kaithi have hit theaters for Diwali. Both films were huge successes and were well received by the audience. It is reported that both the actors are now preparing to repeat history.
Master is the latest movie to be released with Vijay in the lead. The master is preparing the prisoner Lokesh Kanakaraj. The film was originally slated for an April 9 release. But then the release was postponed due to the spread of Co, Rona, Y and Russ. Now, there are reports that the film will hit theaters for Pongal next year.
In that case, another Vijay – Karthi Po, Rattam will be back at the Tamil box office. Sultan is the latest movie starring Karthi. Reshmika Mandana will play the lead role in the film. The shooting of the film was over two days ago. Karthi herself had posted the backup pictures through her official Instagram account. Sultan is directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan. The Sultan producers are planning to release the Pongal in theaters.
