While we all cheered for the news that Prithviraj and team have wrapped up the shooting of ‘Brahmam’, soon then we saw some news reports suggesting of some unhealthy practices being held behind the scene of ‘Brahmam’ movie. It was regarding the absence of actress Ahana Krishna from the movie, which some rumors started making their business in the town. Ahana, who was previously considered for an important role in the film, however was later dropped from the project. As per the rumors, it was out of political reasons that makers decided of dropping Ahana Krishna from the project.

That said, producers of Brahmam, ‘Open Book Productions’ have come up with an official note to clarify the issue. As per the explanatory note, ‘Brahmam’ producers maintained that they had never considered political alliance of the artists as criteria for being part of the project. They made it clear that every cast and crew member of the movie was roped in to meet the expectations of the creative department. ‘Open Book Productions’ however acknowledged that actress Ahana was considered for a role. According to the production department, during the initial part, Ahana was unavailable for the camera – costume tests, since she was tested positive for Covid 19. Later, when the actress made it to the tests, makers of the film found that she might not be the right choice for that particular role – the reason for opting out Ahana from the movie. ‘Open Book Productions’ also maintained that neither actor Prithviraj nor any other artist, had a role in the casting process.
