The device with 16MP front camera is mainly aimed at selfie-lovers, while the price tag of INR 11,999 fits well with the budget of the middle class Indians. Another interesting aspect of this smartphone is that it has a Samsung sensor placed on the front camera, while the 13MP rear camera comes up with a Sony sensor. Having a dedicated flash for the front camera, Micromax featured Auto Scene Detection, Portrait mode, HDR Mode and Night Mode into the showcase list of camera segment.
Company has given a 5 inch HD display for the smartphone, with a 720×1280 pixel resolution, whereas the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor powers Micromax Selfie 3, which has a 3GB of RAM in its belly; the device has a 32GB of internal storage. There is a 3000mAh battery attached to this device, which supports all the major connectivity options you would come across in a similarly priced smartphone.
