Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is busy promoting his upcoming film Samrat Prithviraj. He along with his co-star Manushi Chillar visited Varanasi on Monday and was seen taking blessings of the Lord Mahadev and performing Ganga Aarti.
Taking to Instagram, Akshay Kumar shared a picture of himself wearing a pink kurta and holding a prayer plate in his hands with diyas and flowers in it. Akshay had a red tika on his forehead as well as he performed a puja on the banks of river Ganga.

In another picture, the Samrat Prithviraj actors held the prayer plate together with a priest helping them with offering their prayers.
Samrat Prithviraj is all set to hit theatres on June 3. Helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film is based on the life of legendary warrior Prithviraj Chauhan and his love for Princess Sanyogita. The film also stars Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar. The film marks Manushi Chillar’s debut in Bollywood.
