In an exclusive report of Pinkvilla, Bollywood’s busiest actor Akshay Kumar has been felicitated with a ‘Samman Patra’ from the Income Tax Department. The IT department termed the ‘Khiladi’ actor as one of the highest tax payers from the Hindi film industry.
The honour certificate was received by his team on his behalf. This has come as no surprise for him and his fans as the superstar have constantly been among the highest taxpayers of India over the last five years, a report in Pinkvilla stated.
On the work front, Akshay is currently shooting for Jaswant Singh Gill biopic in the UK. He is expected to return to India in the first week of August and dive into the promotions of his next film, Raksha Bandhan, which is gearing up for an August 11, 2022 release.
