After ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his next ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and taking to social media, he announced that the film will hit the theatres on August 11.
On Thursday morning, Akshay took to social media and shared a short video announcing the release date of ‘Raksha Bandhan’. Along with the video, he wrote, “Bringing you all a story of the purest form of bond that will remind you of yours! #RakshaBandhan releasing in cinemas on 11th August, 2022. #ReturnToFeelings #RakshaBandhan11August.”

Interestingly, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s much awaited film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will also release on the same day.
Raksha Bandhan is directed by Aanand L. Rai and produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. The story written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon revolves around the love, bonding and attachment between brother-sister. The film also features Bhumi Pednekar in lead role.
