Amazon India’s head of technology – Dales Vaz has left the company and joined Swiggy. As was reported by leading media portals, Dale Vaz, who has been leading Amazon for over a decade, would soon be taking over as the head of engineering of Swiggy. While Swiggy declined to make a comment on this, Amazon India however confirmed the news.
Part of Amazon for a long period, Dale Vaz has been in charge of leading Amazon India engineering, since 2014. The entry of Vaz, who has been one of the most prominent names in the Amazon India operations, would ease out the role of Swiggy co founder Rahul Jaimini, who has been the single most important person of the technology department of Swiggy.
