Chances are high this time that you come across an array of branded products in Amazon, which are priced unusually low. That said, under the fancy name of ‘renewed’, Amazon India has started selling refurbished iPhones. It is a good move, but when it has to be read in accordance with that the company is not placing any disclaimer notes on the selling pages.
It is after Indian govt. agreeing Apple to sell refurbished iPhones in the country (with strict conditions), which these unusually low priced devices started reaching the portals of Amazon India. Well, the products are being given 6 month warranty, but the actual provider of warranty is not known to the customers – whether it is Apple or Amazon. However, with people started condemning such movements, Amazon is reportedly preparing for providing more details about the refurbished items on their portal.
