The man who was released after breaking the quarantine was chased away by police and health workers. The incident occurred at St. Peter’s Junction in Pathanamthitta on Monday afternoon. He arrived from Dubai three days ago. He was questioned by police after noticed that he was not wearing the mask properly. He says he is from Dubai and was under surveillance at home. Soon after, health workers wearing PPE kit arrived and tried to catch him.
But he ran away. He was taken to the police station. He was admitted to the Kozhenchery hospital. His travel history is unclear. There are signs that he has quarreled out of the house. After the incident fire force sterilized the area.
