Anikha Surendran made her official acting debut in the Malayalam film Kadha Thudarunnu (2010) and also appeared in the Tamil movies including Yennai Arindhaal (2015) and Viswasam (2019). The actress recently turned 17.
Anikha is now gearing up to play the heroine’s role and has already signed an untitled Telugu film and Malayalam film ‘Lovefully Yours Veda’. She will be playing as a pregnant teenager in her next ‘Vasuvin Karpinigal’, which is directed by Mani Nagaraj.
Neeya Naana Gopinath will be seen as a doctor who handles the pregnancies of four women of different age groups. Anikha Surendran, Vanitha Vijayakumar and Seetha play the female leads in this remake of the Malayalam film ‘Zachariayude Garbhinikal’. The film will hit the theatres soon.
‘Zachariayude Garbhinikal’ (2013) was written and directed by Aneesh Anwar. The film narrates the incidents in the life of a gynaecologist Dr.Zacharia and five women who come into his life. Lal appears as the gynaecologist while Rima Kallingal,Sanusha, Geetha, Asha Sarath, and Sandra Thomas play the roles of five pregnant women.
