Ananda Media has announced its entry into the Telugu cinema with its debut production, ‘Paradha: In the Name of Love’, directed by Praveen Kandregula. Bankrolled by Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva, ‘Paradha’ is a staunch female oriented drama, featuring Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran, and Sangitha. Darshana Rajendran makes her Telugu cinema debut with this film, adding to the cast. The title of the film was revealed by actor Samantha and writer–director duo Raj& DK.
The filming of ‘Paradha’ has taken place in various locations, including Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and rural villages. The final shooting phase is at Hyderabad in May. “With ‘Paradha’, we aim to offer audiences a unique and compelling narrative that resonates deeply.” said director Praveen Kandregula. It’s been an incredible journey bringing this story to life, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.” he added. Praveen is known for his previous directorial ‘Cinema Bandi’. “Our film is not just a story; it’s an experience, a journey that will transport audiences to another realm”, remarked producer Vijay Donkada.
Rohit Koppu is the Executive Producer of ‘Paradha’. To the lyrics of Vanamali, Gopi Sundar crafts the music. Poojitha Sreekanti and Prahaas Boppudi wrote the script, doctored by Krishna Prathyusha. Mridul Sujit is the Director of Photography and Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor. Varun Venugopal handles the sound design. Srinivas Kalinga is the Art Director and Poojitha Tadikonda designed the costumes of Paradha. Abhinay Chilukamari served as the First Assistant Director. Narsingarao Komanabelli did the still photography and Sangeetha Janachandran of Stories Social spearheads Marketing & Communications. Designs are by Anil & Bhanu.
