Apple, while receiving queries from Senate Committee, reportedly said that it would be giving rebate for customers. The customers, who had bought Apple iPhone battery by paying full amount, are the ones, who would receive rebate from Apple. Earlier, it was after old Apple iPhone devices found with lower battery performances, which the company advised customers in buying newer ones. Well, the purposeful act of Apple in slowing down the performance of the devices received backlashes. Soon then, Apple went onto announce that new batteries could be bought at a price of $29, as against the original price of $50.
Well, even before the announcement, many had replaced their iPhone batteries by paying the full amount. Now, with Apple reportedly deciding to offer rebate for them, it has to be seen how they are going to implement the decision.
