The DRDO, part of the Department of Defense, invited applications from eligible girl students for high-end scholarships. Only students studying BTech / M.Tech in some specialties branches need to apply. Branches of studies are as follows.
DRDO Scholarship for Girls Branches:
Aerospace Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering / Space Engineering & Rocketry / Avionics Engineering / Aircraft Engineering.
1. BTech:
Scholarship Amount: Maximum Rs 1,20,000 for four years in order.
Eligibility: Selection based on the JEE Main Score.
Total Scholarships: 20 students.
Criteria: Must have obtained B.Tech admission.
Distribution: 5 years double or integrated programmes will get scholarship for first 4 years.
2. M.Tech:
Scholarship Amount: Maximum Rs 1,86,000 for two years.
Eligibility: Selection based on the GATE Score.
Total Scholarships: 10 students.
Criteria: Should have 60% marks/grade in B.Tech. Must have obtained B.Tech admission.
Distribution: 2 years
Applicants must be fully qualified on the last day of the application. There will not be any service contract. But the Final Year project must be done in one of the proposed labs. All the exams must be scored in the course of the study with 70% marks / equivalent grade. Scholarship will be discontinued if one fails to obtain the score. Do not obtain any other scholarships in parallel with DRDO scholarship.
