Tourism and Hospitality Institute Management System (THIMS) will conduct a National Hospitality teacher’s Eligibility Test (NHTET) on March 18th, 2018. THIMS, which is conducting the test under the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, is meant for attracting qualified persons for teaching in Tourism & Hospitality sector.
The last date to apply for the test is on February 20th, 2018. The test is comprised of questions testing the teaching competence and aptitude of the candidates. In order to be eligible for applying, candidates should have secured a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/Hotel Management, after studying through the 10+2 stream. Applicants are also required to have at least 2 years of industry experience after obtaining Degree.
