Intended to provide scholarship for Below Poverty Line (BPL) students from across the arts and science colleges under the govt. and aided boards in the state, the Director of Collegiate Education, govt. of Kerala has issued a notification about Kerala State Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship, for the year 2017.
The notification mandates that applying students should be studying in undergraduate or post graduate courses during the academic year 2017 – 18. Applicants should have received a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination and should not be receiving any other scholarships. Those who were selected for the scholarship, would get an annual scholarship amount of INR 10,000. The last date to apply for the scholarship, is 31st October, 2017.
