No one could forget the iconic climax scene of the movie, ‘Traffic’. The question posed by Nivin Pauly to Asif Ali in this scene, has given birth to innumerable memes over the years, and yes, it’s been 9 years since the release of the movie that changed the trajectory of Malayalam cinema. Back then, the movie had Asif Ali not answering the question, and greeting it with a smile. While the scene received thunderous applauses from movie going public in Kerala, it seems like Asif Ali wasn’t contended with his smile. Now, the actor has come up with an answer to the question, posed by Nivin 9 years ago.
Yesterday marked the tenth anniversary of Nivin Pauly’s debut and the star announced two of his next projects. That said, Asif Ali preferred greeting Nivin in a different way by giving answer to the latter’s question, “Speed Pediyundo” (Are you afraid of speed?), from ‘Traffic’. Posting a throwback picture of the climax scene, Asif Ali answered that, “Mone, Enikku Speed Pediyilla” (Boy, I’m not afraid of speed). Social media spaces have given thumbs up to the post of Asif Ali and they greeted the great friendship that exists between these two stars.
