Producer and actor Vijay Babu who has been accused of sexual assault charges is absconding in Dubai as per reports. Kochi police has now issued a copy of the arrest warrant to the union home ministry on Sunday. It was Additional CJM court which issued the arrest warrant against Vijay Babu . As per reports the Union Home Ministry will forward the arrest warrant to Interpol and Dubai Police soon.Vijay Babu’s location will be traced by Dubai police and action will be taken to deport him to Kerala.
In the meantime, reports are like Vijay Babu tried to appease the petitioner by influencing her through some people in the film industry and settle the case.Since he is absconding more people have turned up to give statements against him.
Kerala High Court will consider his anticipatory bail plea on May 18.
