Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) has invited applications from interesting candidates for applying to its various courses. The Summer learning programmes are aimed popularizing the concept of Vocational training during summer. The main objective of ‘Summer Skill Skool’ is traingin and giving placement support for youth. The courses are aimed to include the youth of Kerala, between the age bracket of 15 and 25.
There are 4 modes of operation: DOT (Demand Operate Train), DOAP (Demand Operate Assess Place), DAT (Design Align Train) and I – DOT (I – Demand Operate Train). Classes are scheduled to be conducted for a period of 150 hours. ASAP also provides a 150 hour mandatory internship as well. The course fee is INR 10,000 for Category 2 students. However Category 1 students are exempted from paying the fee, provided the meet the requirements. Last date to apply for ‘Skill SKOOL Vacation’ is February 15.
