Mohammad Shihshad who was arrested for kicking a minor boy has been remanded for 14 days by Thalassery First Class Magistrate court. The remand report says that the accused committed culpable homicide.
The accused first hit the boy on the head and kicked him when he did not move away from the car. The remand report also states that if the boy had not turned around, he could have died by that kick.
The car of the accused was also seized following the arrest. Police took the action after the CCTV visuals of the incident went viral.
The victim is a Rajasthan native Ganesh who suffered a severe back injury.
