The Kerala Legislative Assembly Library will also be open to the public from November 1 at 11.30 am. Excise Department Minister M.B. Rajesh will provide the first public membership.
The assembly library, which is celebrating its centenary year, has more than 1,15,000 books of priceless and historical importance. Apart from general texts, it also includes Royal Proclamations, Acts, Ordinances, Proceedings of Travancore, Kochi, Thiru-Kochi and Kerala Legislatures, Gazettes, Census Reports, various Committee/Commission Reports of the Govt.
Assembly Speaker A.N. Shamseer will launch the logo and inaugurate the website of the Kerala Legislative Assembly ‘International Book Festival 2022’. Thiruvananthapuram district library council members, famous literary figures of the district, cultural activists, Kerala University Students Union Chairman and research students of Kerala University will participate in the event.
