As was reported earlier, Ather has finally launched its electric scooter in India. The Ather 340, which has been priced at INR 1,09,750, Ather has also launched a higher variant – Ather 450, priced at INR 1,24,750. Both the scooters are open for booking on Ather’s website and come with similar design. Both feature LED lighting package at front and rear, while a fully digital touchscreen instrument is visible there.
Powered by 4.4 kW motor, the Ather 340 clocks a peak torque of 40 Nm. The top speed of Ather 340 stands at 70 kmph. On the other hand, Ather 450 is powered by a 5.4 kW electric motor, which delivers a peak torque figure of 20.5. The top speed stands at 80 kmph.
