He has written many songs in plays and albums. He fell ill on the sets of Biju C Kannan’s Suthrapani in Chengannur. He was immediately taken to the hospital. He did a song in the movie Station 5. It was he who penned the Malayalam lyrics in tune with tribal language in the National Award-winning song Kele Kela Kumbha sung by Nanchamma. This song was sung by Vinod Kovoor and Nanchamma.
