During the past 24 hours, a total of 66,999 fresh Covid cases were reported in India. With last day’s figure, India’s Covid tally stands 23,96,638 to its credit. The country has registered 942 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 47,033 lives from India so far. Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 6,53,622, whereas a total of 16,95,982 got cured/discharged/migrated.
The recovery rate of the country stands at 70.76%, giving a strong positive note to the country’s fight against Covid 19. ICMR statistics show that the country has tested a 8,30,391 samples last day. With this, the total number of samples tested by India, has reached 2,68,45,688.
