During the past 24 hours, a total of 63,489 fresh Covid cases were reported in India. With last day’s figure, India’s Covid tally stands 25,89,682 to its credit. On the other hand, the number of people, who have recovered from the pandemic stands at 53,321. The country has registered 944 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 49,980 lives from India so far. Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 6,77,444, whereas a total of 18,62,258 got cured/discharged/migrated.
The recovery rate of the country stands at 71.91%, giving a strong positive note to the country’s fight against Covid 19. ICMR statistics show that the country has tested a 7,46,608 samples last day. With this, the total number of samples tested by India, has reached 2,93,09,703.
