During the past 24 hours, a total of 64,399 fresh Covid cases were reported in India. With last day’s figure, India’s Covid tally stands 21,53,011 to its credit. On the other hand, India has also managed to add 53,879 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours. The country has registered 861 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 43,379 lives from India so far. Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 6,28,747, whereas a total of 14,80,885 got cured/discharged/migrated.
The recovery rate of the country stands at 68.78%, giving a strong positive note to the country’s fight against Covid 19. ICMR statistics show that the country has tested a 7,19,364 samples last day – a record figure till date. With this, the total number of samples tested by India, has reached 2,41,06,535.
