Kerala has registered a total of 1211 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 970. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 34,321, while the state’s total active cases have reached 12,347. A total of 21,836 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 76 are from overseas, while 78 came from other states.
The state has registered 1026 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 103 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 2 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 108.

Right now, 1,49,357 people are under observation, out of which a total of 11,742 are in hospital. Today, a total of 1,278 people have been admitted to hospitals. During the last 24 hours, Kerala has tested a total of 22,745 samples – a record figure. Till date, Kerala has tested a total of 9,84,208 samples. The results of 1,193 test results are yet to come.
