Yamaha has showcased a Hyper Slaz Concept during the 2018 Auto Expo. The production variant of Hyper Slaz Concept has been named M – Slaz, and comes with a lean look and appears in red colour. Powered by a 149cc single cylinder motor, the engine of M – Slaz generates a maximum power of 17PS at 8,000rpm. The peak torque figure stands at 15Nm at 7,500rpm.
The vehicle, which is already available in many South East Asian countries, is expected to come with a price tag of around INR 1.8 lakh in India. However, the price might come down further, if Yamaha goes for launching a downgraded version of M – Slaz, which is being sold out in other South East Asian markets.
