Launching their new 100cc bike, Platina ComforTec with LED Daylight Running Lights (DRL), Bajaj Auto has tightened its grip on the 100cc segment. Priced at INR 46,656 Bajaj Platina ComforTec also happens to be the first Indian bike in the 100cc-150cc segment to sport the technology of LED DRL. Having features such has Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), the bike is claimed to consume less power, but deliver better fuel consumption figures. Bajaj has introduced two colour variants for Platina ComforTec – ebony black and cocktail wine. Both colours respectively come up with silver and red decals.
Powered by a 102cc single – cylinder engine, Platina ComforTec comes up with Bajaj DTSi engine. The engine makes 7.8 bhp and 8.3 Nm, and weighs for 111 kg. . There is a four speed gearbox present in the bike. Sporting ‘spring – soft’ seat, rubber footpads and directional tyres, ComforTec is said to enhance ride comfort and stability.
