Prakash Thampi has given statement before Crime branch, which might provide some defying moments in the Balabhaskar case. While giving statement to Crime Branch, Prakash Thampi restated that it was Arjun, who had driven the car, when the accident happened. He maintained that he had visited Arjun, when the former was in the hospital. Back then, Arjun had reportedly confessed of driving the car. However, Prakash added that he was unable to talk to Arjun, after he had changed his stance.
Going in line with the words of Prakash Thampi, Arjun had reportedly blocked his number, which generated doubts in the minds of Prakash. That said, Prakash Thampi made it clear that he had no deal whatsoever with Balabhaskar and the late violinist had no connection with the gold smuggling case.
