Thiruvananthapuram: Bankers’ committee has announced special measures to curb congestion in banks. The banks will operate from 10 am to 4 pm until April 4. The action will be taken to include social welfare pension disbursements.
Separate days were fixed for customers based on their account number. Those with an account number ending in 0 and 1 should reach the banks on April 2. Those who end up with 2,3 digits, those who have 4,5 digits and their account numbers on April 4, 6,7th and 6th and 8,9th digits should reach the bank.
