After Kuwait, Vijay starrer ‘Beast’ has been banned in Qatar too. The most anticipated action drama ‘Beast’ has got a record number of screens all over which is slated for release on April 13.
The film got banned in Kuwait recently as it portrayed Muslims as terrorists and certain dialogues that go against Pakistan. Upholding the same reason, the Qatar government has also restricted ‘Beast’ release in their territory. Meanwhile, ‘Beast’ certified PG 15 in the other GCC region UAE, Bahrain, and Oman.
‘Beast’ is an action comedy film written and directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures. The film stars Vijay and Pooja Hegde, while Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley play supporting roles. It revolves around a spy’s crusade to rescue people held hostage in a shopping mall by terrorists.
The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography was handled by Manoj Paramahamsa, editing by R. Nirmal and production design supervised by D. R. K. Kiran, respectively.
