BJ300GS – A, the touring version of Benelli 302R, got unveiled in China. Much heavier than 302R, the BJ300GS – A is been priced at 35,800 Yuan – approximately INR 3.67 Lakh according to the Indian standards. Targeted at the adventure riders, the BJ300GS – A has got a tall widescreen. There are two hard case panniers on each side, while a top box will be there for cross country rides.
Weighing for 216kg, the BJ300GS – A has got a fuel tank of 21 liter. At 12,000rpm, the vehicle will develop a power of 36bhp. The peak torque figure stands 27Nm at 9,000rpm. The engine is mated with a 6 speed transmission. It is expected that BJ300GS – A will hit the Indian markets by 2019.
