BJP leader and actor Suresh Gopi visited the Baps Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. The picture has reached the Facebook page of BJP Thrissur and is gaining attention on social media.
The Baps Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi was opened to the faithful on the 14th of this month. The full name of the temple is Bochasanvasi Akshara Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha Mandir.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the temple. The ceremonies were in the presence of priests and invited dignitaries.
Construction of the Baps temple, which started in 2019, has been completed but the polishing work is still going on.
The temple is built of pink sandstone and white marble on a 27-acre site at Abu Muraikha on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway.
The main attraction of the temple is the seven towers representing the seven emirates of the UAE.
