Kottayam: BJP is gearing up for the parliamentary elections. BJP State General Secretary MT Ramesh informed that a padayatra will be organized which will pass through all the 20 parliamentary constituencies of the state.
The BJP state leadership meeting held in Kottayam decided to hold the padayatra. The padayatra is led by state president K Surendran.
The Padayatra is being organized in the month of January with the slogan ‘New Kerala with Narendra Modi’. Every day, a quarter of a lakh workers will march.

The meeting also discussed preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting also decided to expand NDA activities in Kerala. It has also been decided to organize the NDA district-constituency convention.
At the same time BJP has also decided to interact with the Christian community. As part of this, it has been decided that party workers will visit the homes of Christians.
Sneha Yatra will be organized from 20th to 30th of this month. Explaining the decisions of Yoga, MT Ramesh stated that he will go to Christian homes and exchange Christmas greetings.
