BlackBerry Ltd and Punkt Tronics AG have signed in a licensing deal for ‘BlackBerry Secure’. The deal, as the name indicates, is meant for increasing the security level of smartphones. While speaking about the deal, BlackBerry officials maintained that the past years had taught them the importance of security. Into the license, the ‘BlackBerry Secure’ would be stressing emphasis on product manufacturing, while deep embedded security solutions would be a major highlight.
Punkt, a Swiss consumer electronics maker, said that the deal with BlackBerry would enable them to bring a range of security features along home – enterprise networks.
