BMW launched its flagship model BMW 8 Series in India. The 8 Series was launched in India in three variants: 840 i Grand Coupe (1.29 crore), 840 i Grand Coupe M Sport (1.55 crore) and M8 (2.15 crore). Cars are launched online and can be purchased through the BMW Contactless Experience.

The vehicle features a sporty-looking exterior with a large kidney grill, beautiful headlamps, and large air intakes. The coupe has a pretty tailgate rear LED tail lamp and sporty dual exhaust. The Grand Coupe is powered by 18-inch alloy wheels and the M8 with 19-inch alloy wheels.
The 8 Series is one of BMW’s most luxurious interiors. The coupe model features a two-part panoramic sunroof and driver-focused cockpit. The M8 comes with a sporty-looking interior and comfortable seats. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the 10.25-inch infotainment system make the interior more luxurious.

The coupe version is powered by the BS6 standard 3.0 liter six cylinder turbo charged petrol engine. This engine produces 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. An engine with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in just 5.2 seconds. The M8 comes with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo charged V8 engine. With 600 PS and 750 Nm of torque, the car will reach 100 km / h in just 3.3 seconds.
