Dubai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been granted a UAE Golden Visa. The actor tweeted this along with pictures. The passport with the visa for 10 years was handed over in the presence of the Director General of Dubai Emigration, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri.
Sanjay Dutt thanked Fly Dubai’s Hamad Ubaidalla for their support. This is the first time a mainstream actor in India has been granted a UAE visa. Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata and family have been living in Dubai for a long time for business.
In 2019, the UAE government introduced the Golden Visa. Iowa visas issued for 5, 10 years can be renewed later. Many Indian businessmen in the UAE, including Malayalees, have already obtained golden visas.
