BSES, Delhi has launched an app for consumers to verify the integrity of the visiting officials from electric distribution company. The app, which is designed to verify the identity of the inspection staff, would be of highly useful for the residents, who were cheated by impostors many a time. The BSES mobile app contains the feature of ‘BYPL representative Check’ – something which contains the details of officials.
The latest move from BSES, which is one of the two electricity distribution companies in Delhi, is expected to be followed by ever more tight norms to ensure the right of consumers.
