CBSE declares no role in NEET

The Central Board of Secondary Education, has maintained that it had no role in determining the eligibility of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). The board clarified that grievances of candidates, if any, should be submitted before the Medical Council of India (MCI). Well, CBSE has made things clear, following when a number of complaints were received regarding the decision of the board in barring open school candidates from appearing NEET.

Maintaining that the role of CBSE was limited merely in holding the NEET (UG) examination, the board added that eligibility criteria was decided by MCI. NEET is all set to take place on May 6th this year. The online application procedure will come to an end on March 9th.
