In a move to meet the concern of special candidates, CBSE has issued an official order. As per the order, the board would allow students with special needs would be allowed to use laptops for class 10 and 12 board examinations. The order further states that such candidates would have to submit a certificate, issued either by a registered medical practitioner or that of a psychological consultant.
It was after the meeting held between the committee members of CBSE Examination, when the decision was taken. Well, in order to meet the challenges of using laptops, CBSE mandates that laptops should not have an internet connection and be used solely for the purpose of viewing the questions as well as typing the answers.
