The official website of CBSE has released the notification for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018. NET 2018, which is to take place on July 8th this year, is going to be conducted according to the new pattern. The link for submission of online applications will be activated from 5th March 2018 onwards. Last date for applying is 5th April, 2018. That said, link for submitting the fee in online mode is on 6th April, 2018.
Candidates, who have Masters Degree with a minimum of 55 percentage can apply for NET. However, final year students too can appear for the examination, provided that they would be able to submit the eligibility certificate within 2 years of conductance of examination. According to the notification, the admit card for the examination would be released by the second week of June. Fee for general candidates is INR 1000. For OBC and SC/ST candidates, the fee is as follows – INR 500 and INR 250.
