Kochi: The Kerala Strikers team for the Celebrity Cricket League has been announced. The 17-member team was announced today. Kunchacko Boban is the captain of the team.
Kerala Strikers Team: Kunchacko Boban (Captain), Unni Mukundan, Vivek Gopan, Saiju Kurup, Manikutan, Arjun Nandakumar, Siddharth Menon, Shafiq Rahman, Nikhil K Menon, Vijay Yesudas, Prajod Kalabhavan, Jean Paul Lal, Sanju Sivaram, Asif Ali, Rajeev Pillai, Prashant Alexander and Siju Wilson.
The tournament will start on February 23. Eight teams will be part of the tournament. Apart from Kerala Strikers, Telugu Warriors, Karnataka Bulldozers, Punjab De Sher, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Bengal Tigers, Chennai Rhinos and Mumbai Heroes are competing in the tournament.
Telugu Warriors are the current champions of the Celebrity Cricket League. Telugu has also won the title the most number of times. The title was won in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2023. Karnataka Bulldozers (2013, 2014) and Chennai Rhinos (2011, 2012) won two titles each. Mumbai Heroes (2019) won the title once. Kerala Strikers were runners up in 2014 and 2017.
