It was a proud moment for Malayalam cinema, when the Goa International Film Festival has come to an end. Chemban Vinod and Lijo Jose Pellissery were respectively crowned as the best actor and director in Goa film festival. The movie ‘Ee Ma Yau’ was the one which enabled both to grab the coveted titles. Chemban and Lijo Jose would respectively receive INR 10 and INR 15 Lakhs as prize money.
Thus, Malayalam cinema has managed to raise the bar of achievement in Goa film festival. Last year too, it was a proud moment for Mollywood. It was Parvathy, who was chosen the best actress in the last year, for her stupendous performance in the movie ‘Take Off’.
