Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
“Kerala CM Vijayan Pinarayi called on PM Narendra Modi,” Prime Minister`s Office said in a tweet.
Both the leaders held discussions on the controversial SilverLine project among other Centre-state issues. CM met PM Modi amidst growing protests in Kerala by the UDF and the BJP.
He also met railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and briefed about the meeting with the Prime Minister.
Pinarayi Vijayan said that PM Modi responded positively and assured that he will speak to the railway minister.
