Both of them arrived in Italy last day. Items worth Rs 10 lakh in their hands were missing. They planned to spend one day in Florence. After leaving the things outside in the car, they went to look at the hotel. When they came back, they saw that the glass of their car was broken. Passport, wallet, cash and other valuables were stolen. Only a few clothes were left there. They said that the reason for not helping the police is that there was no CCTV at the scene.
They immediately tried to contact the Indian Embassy. But the office was closed at that time. As I had none in hand, the embassy needed to arrange a temporary passport to come back to India. In any case, the audience wishes that both of them can come safely to India as soon as possible.
